@victor Broom error is often made by a wrong scatter file. You must can flash only ebr1 with your right scatter file.You must check it or make a new with mtkdroid. Angelobiz

NOW...i thinks that you have blank screen because you have vga resolution you can make a new modded recovery with your resolution if you read this tutorial http://www.mediafire.com/view/?ixb8v2438mnofay it is simple.. but you need have your stock recovery... here if you no have it...

do you has tried to flash it with SpDmt tool and change driver of display?.... but i thinks that there ia a different version with less resolution....

i have tried ROM N7100+ S7180 edu v1.2 and work on S7100.... and ROM N7100+ S7180 original de fábrica 12/12/2012 it is good too!!! preloader and dsp ik good too! they work on S7100!!

Sorry for english, i'm from Italy I have a star S7100, with original firmware e1901_v77_jbla668_9p017_20121120. it is same S7180 but it have only 512mb of ram . i have just flash it with firmware of S7180 and all work!!! So i have make this:: Cwm Recovery, ( you just have this :-)...
