What do you exactly mean with 'no contacts'? Did you make a backup of your contacts before doing the clean installation? What I use to do is to export my contacts list from the phone to the SD card. Once I have made the installation I make the opposite process, I import the contacts from my SD card to the phone; and choose in contacts to display to show me only the contacts stored on the phone

When a call from a saved contact is only the No. displayed but not the name of it! I made backup with Titanium Backup!

El problema que yo he detectado es que la conexion wifi me sale en gris. Conecta se pone en azul, pero seguido se pone en gris. Navega pero por ejemplo no puedo descargar aplicaciones porque me dice esperando conexion. Con la 3G no problem.

Edito: Bueno, he reiniciado con el wifi activado y ahora funciona bien.

Por cierto cual es el widget que viene con esta Rom para la meteorologia?. La estoy buscando en play.com para istalarla en otro teléfono pero no la encuentro. La de accuwheather.com no es la misma.

Thats odd, I haven't seen that before. I have my contacts synchronised wih google, and all works great.

Desconozco cual es la de la meteorología. Yo uso yahoo weather que me gusta bastante.

About the wifi. Initially I had the same problem, loads of disconnects and the connection icon going from blue to grey, and no data transmission. Luckily I had a very similar thing happening with a laptop I have (win os) but not with another with linux, and figured that part of the problem could come from the wireless router config.
Scanning around the house, I saw a lot of interference with neighbouring wifis, and started to play with my router configs, I changed channel and other settings, plus set the wifi ip config on the phone to static, and the wifi now works like a charm.

Sobre la R.... la única forma de quitarla la R que yo conozca es modificando los iconos del .apk que lo gestiona. Esta solución no es algo que yo vaya a realizar ya que por lo menos ahora con la 4.1.2, también te aparece la H,E,etc... según la conexión de datos, algo que en la 4.0.4 no aparecía en roaming nacional. Ademas, a veces (en mi caso) ando entre paises (cambiando sims) y me gusta saber (confirmar) que estoy en roaming, y la solución de quitar la R me impediría tener esta indicación. Pero cualquiera es libre de modificarlo.

I tried rebooting with and without removing the battery. The "updating android" message only appeared the first time.

The "updating android" message only appears the first time, as its doing a dexpot of all the packages for the first time, and then at least one reboot it necesary to make sure permissions are set properly (although sometimes serveral reboots are necesarry to get all the quick notification buttons working properly, which I am still not sure why it does that). Removing or not the battery has nothing to do with it. After install, did you restore saved system settings from previous installations? if you did, it could lead to some problems you are getting.

If been using this rom 2.0.4 since I released it, doing a full wipe install, and its working pretty good.
