Aqui os pongo algunas de las caracteristicas de este gran procesador
The Mediatek MT6595 is a high end ARM SoC for smartphones and
tablets. The octa core processor integrates four fast ARM Cortex-A17 cores and four power saving Cortex-A7 cores (big.LITTLE). It is also possible to run all 8 cores at once to boost performance. The integrated graphics card is a IMG PowerVR Series 6 (most likely PowerVR G6200).
Furthermore, the SoC integrates a WiFi (802.11ac), Bluetooth, UMTS/HSPA+, LTE (Cat. 4) and TD--SCDMA radio. GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo and QZSS are supported for navigation and the integrated video engine is able to handle 4K material and even decoding H.265 clips.

Powerful
octa-core LTE smartphones with a price tag between
$200 and
$300 will soon become reality thanks to the latest chip announced by
MediaTek and dubbed
MT6595. This new mobile processor will be able to
"form the new top of MediaTek’s product stack and reach a US$30 price point, which is three times higher than its smartphone average selling price."
The MediaTek MT6595 chip consists of four
ARM Cortex-A17 and four
Cortex-A7 cores and integrates a
PowerVR Series 6 GPU based on the PowerVR Rogue architecture. This is
"World’s first mobile SOC with integrated, low-power hardware support for the new H.265 Ultra HD (4K2K) video record & playback," as well as support for
H.264 & VP9 Ultra HD video playback. There is also support for
24-bit 192 kHz Hi-Fi quality audio and a DAC able to deliver over a signal to noise ratio of over
110 dB.
The MT6595 is also MediaTek's first mobile platform with
support for WiFi 802.11 ac and it also includes support for
multi-GNSS positioning systems such as GPS,
Beidou,
GLONASS,
QZSS and
Galileo.
The platform will become commercially available in the first half of the year, while first devices powered by it are expected in the second half. For more details, please check the press release below.
