No te funciona el update.zip que has creado porque seguramente añadiste el updater-script automatico con la cocina.
El updater script tiene que estar adapatado al tipo de almacenamiento y sistema de archivos ficheros y punto de montaje que use el telfono en cuestion.
No se exactamente el Miz Z5 como sera, aunque imagino que como el resto de estos teleofnos:

Haz un update.zip con un archivo de texto a /system/etc/, o algo asi que no vaya a cascar nada, y prueba con un updater-script tal asi:


Si este te sirve te sirvira el updater-script completo que hay en mi ROM para poder crear el zip de la rom portada.

Yo no puedo saberlo, no tengo tu movil, ni he visto ninguna rom para el, ni nada, tendras que mirarlo tu mismo.

Voy a probar, pienso k en realidad es el mismo hardware, lo único k cambia es la pantalla, pero el hardware creo k no muxo, lo intentaré y t comento

Le cambiado el updater y sigue en las mismas, le metido uno de lewa especifico para mi modelo, así k le he cambiado el boot.img pero toy sin batería y no me atrevo a probarlo, ya OS digo el resultado, muxas gracias por el interés.

Pasame el updater script de la ROM lewa para el Z5 y dime tambien que metodo has seguido para hacer el port.

P.D. Por cierto, estos temas de cocina, portar roms, etc. deberian ir al suforo especifico Taller Android , ademas de que porque es su sitio ,porque dentro del subforo de un telefono concreto es mas dificil que alguien que pueda ayudar lo vea y pueda responder.

con respecto a lo del sitio donde posteé esto, ya lo puse en taller android y nadie me contestó, en htcmania tb y el mismo resultado, a dia de hoy nadie ha respondido salvo ustedes dos. gracias por todo.

por cierto, yo el port de lewa no lo hice, es una rom que está portada por un ruso de otro foro.

Lo que te decia es que metodo has usado para portar la ROM al Z5, no el port de la ROM Lewa.
¿Has seguido algun manual o como lo has hecho?
