Descargar V2 deodex rom - I think this is the best ROM yet for Lenovo A850 phone.
It allows (With below tips) full screen rotation (including Desktop), Bluetooth mouse & file transfers, Wifi MAC changing on the fly (Persistent or reset at boot). Very stable and fast.
#1 - FULL SCREEN ROTATION including desktop -
Easy, just use the included Gyro calibrator (GSensor) utility. Which will allow rotation in most program areas, but not desktop.
Now install the ADW Launcher apk file. -->> See link at: vhp.host-ed.meFWDSLASHA850
ADW-Launcher-apk zipfile(~770KB, is available on GooglePlay)
Full rotation everywhere (if you enable it in settings of course).
#2 -In Descargar V2 deodex rom - HOW TO FIX CORRUPTED CHARGING SCREEN (Phone is off)
In Ubuntu or another LiveCD Filemanager (or any Linux, Unix OS) - Open the A850 "4.2.2.aosp.deodex.infodreams" zipfile, and navigate to: FWDSLASHsystemFWDSLASHbinFWDSLASH

Now still in the Filemanager window, open the Muii rom "A850-3-12-27-ml zipfile", and FWDSLASHsystemFWDSLASHbinFWDSLASH
Now drag the file named "ipod" from the muuii zipfile to the aosp zipfile (i.e. from FWDSLASHbin to FWDSLASHbin directories.)
When the zip is finished processing, close down linux. You can install from the updated aosp zipfile, but dont tick md5 integrty test as thats changed.
NB: This won't work if file copy is done in Windows.
#3 - SPOOF WIFI MAC on A850, may also work on other phone models -
Download and install - Script Manager - SManager.apk (from GooglePlay or my link: vhp.host-ed.meFWDSLASHA850, the .apk is in "WIFI-MAC-CHANGE zipfile") (~1.0MB)
This is a 11 Star program (out of 10).
Now, unzip the folder from "WIFI-MAC-CHANGE zipfile" -> WIFI-MAC-CHANGE into your external SD storage (FWDSLASHsdcardFWDSLASHWIFI-MAC-CHANGE)
You may have to edit the path to the setmacstartup.sh file (mine is FWDSLASHsdcardFWDSLASHWIFI-MAC-CHANGEFWDSLASHsetmacstartup.sh)
Open setmacstartup.sh with any text editor to do this.
Now open the installed Script Manager program, and navigate to the setmacstartup.sh file. Choose Execute from menu.
In the Script Manager program, you only need to click on the SU, and the Boot buttons, then click Save on the right. Then Exit.
Before rebooting to test, check and write down your current Wifi Mac address See AboutPhone->Status'.in Settings. Reboot.
If succesful, you will now see your new MAC in 'Settings->AboutPhone->Status'.
If not. Navigate with Script Manager to make sure you have a path to the WIFI file as follows -
FWDSLASHdataFWDSLASHnvramFWDSLASHAPCFGFWDSLASHAPRDEBFWDSLASHWIFI
Alter your path in setmacstartup.sh, and reboot.
To change your MAC, just drop a different "WIFI" file into the "FWDSLASH1" folder (x10 are provided). You can put in your own Mac addresses, using a Hex Editor by filling positions 9 to 20 with the 16 digits of any valid MAC (2nd digit must be 0)
If you use one of the 10 Iincluded WIFI files, they should be peristant. IE you can uninstall Script Manager. If you edit you own the MAC will be reset at reboot (file pemissions?). If all else fails, delete "WIFI" file, using mobileuncletools filemanager if wont bootup.
Also: Doing a Factory Reset, gives a different persistant Wifi Mac address each time. But that's not useful for everyday use.To get your Real MAC just delete the "WIFI" file as above.
