Siguiendo este tutorial lo he conseguido, está en ingles pero se entiende bien, gracias:

here is the solution for imei recovery after many painfull attempts!

1: install twrp then install rooted custom rom (14s based rom used)

2: install root explorer - es file explorer or favorite root file manager

3: select device root then search "nvram" and delete 3 folder named "nvram" only.

4: poweroff

5: download mauimeta 16.04 version and extract it

6: run mauimeta with admin rights then click reconnect and connect phone to the computer at poweroff state ( need mtk vcom drivers installed)

7: after phone connect select imei download and click change nvram and yes for popup use target device nvram. write imei's. then click download imei to flash.

8: disconnect and reboot

Me alegro mucho que lo hayas solucionado, yo con eso no pude, con conseguí con flashtools, maui, flashboot y recovery stock. toda una odisea.

...porfin lo logre hice que de nuevo ami letv x620 vuelva a ser llamadas ..................Hola yo acababa de pasar lo mismo..le cambie de rom y despues nunca mas volvio a leer las targetas sim...y me salia imei desconocida.....bueno intente de todo le volvi a cambiar de rom aplicaciones...monton de tutoriales...la verdad q ya me avia dado porvencido.....pero hoy leii un tutorial y bueno pense q ya no perdia nada........consiste en entrar ala carpeta raiz con root explorer entrar a raiz ..nv data i ai borrar la nvd_ram...automaticamente aparece una nueva nvd ram y ai lla empiexa a leer las sim...yo me alegre bastante pero igual me decia imei invalido pero ya leia las targetas....bueno entonces entre otraves a rais nvdata de ai nvram y de ndd_imei y borre todo lo q havlia ai reinicie y ya...porfin estaa ok puedo llamar mensajear y todo......bueno les queria comparttir mi experiencia....

Ahora q me doy cuenta los imei nunca se borran..por mas q salga imei desconocido parece q por algun motivo se esconden porque yo no hice ninguna copia de seguridad de los imei y ahora q a vuelto a funcionar despues q decia imei desconocido....volvio a funcionar i es el mismo imei con el q venia

El IMEI puedes verlo en tu cuenta google.

He podido recuperar el imei de un leeco lex626 con un mtk 6797 usando la verion MauiMETA_v9.1635.23 solo habilite la opcion de enable composite kernel USB port (for adb) al ver que enecendiendo el equipo con pantalla en moto fastboot no abrio puerto com teniendo bien instalados los drivers probe con una consola y vi que lo detectaba tecleando fastboot devices asi que lo reinicie conectado y mientras esta booteando con el logo de leeco y mantuve vol - y abrio el puerto com y lo detecto y procedi a poner los imei. tambien consegui un twrp que no brickea el equipo si alguien ocupa puedo subir los archivos
